where vacuum distribution box

While trying trouble shoot my center ac vent issue, I pulled on the green vacuum line at passenger foot well (comes through firewall) and disconnected it from some type of connector or distribution box. The white vacuum line that comes from engine, runs along firewall towards right side enters a hole in the right side body panel....can't see where it goes from there. The green line entered same hole (that's where it disconnected)....any idea where that connection between the green and white vacuum hose is?

Thanks so much...my problem is that I can't find where the connection (going in reverse) from y11 by way of mgn tube, through fire wall....that's where I lost connection to the vacuum line coming across the back firewall....Vacuum reservoir #30 above...the vacuum line along firewall disappears into a hole in the inside quarter panel...that where the green line connected to the vacuum tube (hidden down that hole)

I found it! It is located behind the wheel well splash guard...had to remove splash guard (8 screws) enough to pull it down...there it was...and...The vacuum line going to the flap distributor was somehow broken off...I'm replacing line connector and keeping fingers crossed that it solves my ac vent issue.

I know I’m finding this a little late but THANK YOU! I haven’t found any thing as clear about where to look as you have here. I’m having some issues in my 210 and this is undoubtedly the cause.

The vacuum line comes from the back of the engine...it will disappear somewhere. That's the tough part finding where it goes from there...I believe that you will find it in a similar spot before it will go through the firewall...believe that your distribution box is also above right passenger seat footwell so check above right wheel.

The Y11 switchover valve is located inside the passenger side dashboard.

You'll find the Instructions, on how to access it, in post #3 here.

That is correct but I'm describing the vacuum line before it comes through the wall to the Y11...where a lot of breaks occur is in the upper wheel well. The vacuum line connects to a fitting that then leads through the firewall to the y11. That fitting breaks resulting in no or little vacuum going to the y11
