Crrraaacckk!
Never ever reverse on grass (the green stuff on the ground my man). I drove into a little grassy patch on a narrow road to turn the car around, not realising that there was actually a slight incline to the grass.
The car went in fine because the front bumper slopes downwards and inwards, but when I reversed the car, I heard 3 almighty cracks and saw a lady pointing to the front of my car.
I jumped out and saw the right front bumper was completely ripped from its attachment, and the skinny part between the headlight and the driving light broken. This happened because the under edge of the bumper caught on some bloody tough grass and then got dug into the dirt as reversed out.
I managed to drive home as the bumper was still hanging on by the left side.
With a little help from my intrepid wife who jumped into a cab and got a free washer from a nearby tire shop and a little DIY, I managed to secure the bumper.
It actually held for about 3 weeks before I took into the shop for proper repairs.

heh did that on my stock bumper.... but my car isn't lowered.
the center bar (plastic thing) that goes across the front air
dam between the foglights popped off. Now it's sitting at my
cube at work.
