Finally done with my CLK - Photos Included
Well, as of today, I am finally done with my CLK (Yeepee!!!). Tinted windows, added spoiler, Kenwood Excelon DDX7015 DVD Player with Navigation and Sirius Satellite Radio, Alpine V12 5 Channel amp, Amp, 15" TDX Diamond sub, Lighted AMG door sills, and just installed the bumper, which was the last thing I wanted to do to it. Here are some photos. Let me know what you think.
What are your thoughts???

Hello everyone,
Wow, so many questions to answer.
Ok first of all, here is a photo of the interior (stereo) and back of the car.
Second of all, the bumper is an Oberklasse bumper. Very well done!
Fiberglass, came with the fog lights, and the fit was perfect, though I did have to drill a few hole, and it did have to be sanded very well and primed to take out the many pin holes, the finish product looks great! Though you can't really tell in the photos, there is a black mesh in the hole.
The fit was perfect, which is always the main issue when going with aftermarket parts.
Their website is http://www.oberklasse.com
Not cheap, and long shipping wait, as they order it from Germany, but their customer service is Great! The guy's name is Charles that I spoke to, and he was always very helpful and polite.
As far as the car being shinny, no, I did not get it repainted. The paint job is still perfect, and had them wax, polish, and buff it when the put the bumper on. The guy I use here is AWESOME!!! and cheaper then most places I know.
Hope this helps, and thanks for the nice comments.

CLK, X5
Seriously, someone could badge there's a CLK 1000 for all i care. If you are buying a clk 55 for just the badge then something is wrong, and if you have a 55 and feel offended by his car, just remember how you can put him to shame off the line.

Yes, it is a 430, and yes, a clk55 would put me to shame :-)
That is the reason why I don't try to race anyone! The car looks good and sounds good. Everytime someone tries to race me, I just start nice and slow and let them get frustrated. A lot more fun (and safe) that way :-)

I don't remember
A lot of people have asked me that in the past, and, for the life of me, I don't remember where I got it. I got a lot of my parts on Ebay and Oberklasse, and I think I got it from Ebay, but can't seem to find a receipt for it anywhere (that figures, doesn't it?), and of course, it was too long ago, so my Ebay purchases don't show the item anymore.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I agree, but....
I wanted to do that, but since my car only still has 35,000 miles, any work like that would void my warranty, which I extended to 2007 or 100,000 miles, so mechanical work until then is pretty much out, which really sucks.
When I had my BMW, I added just about all the Dinan upgrades that was available, because, as long as the work as done by an authorized BMW dealer, it did not void the warranty. Unfortunately, Mercedes does not do that on AMG upgrades.
I don't get why, but, oh well, will just have to wait a bit :-)

I asked
I already asked, and they checked and told me it would, as the back pressure created from the exhaust system is directly related to the computer system and performance of the car.
I double checked, and they told me the same. Unless you can give me the contact info of someone that will tell me otherwise for sure so I can bring that up to them. That would be great! :-)

CLK 430
That screen looks amazing in place of the navi. Can you still use the steering wheel controls to skip through next track and adjust the volume? Thats the only thing stopping me from getting something like that.
