CLK 430
![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I just got the Eisenmann Exhaust and now i need to throw some intakes on there. I've asked the question before about whats good and it was state that the Renntech CLK430 intake was similar to the AMG CLK55 intake.. I went to the dealer to check out if the CLK55 Intake would fit on the 430 and it looks rather complicated, does anyone have any pictures or diagrams of how to, or can suggest another Intake manufacturer other the Renntech that i can check out? ..

The CLK55 intake is a piece of cake to install. The old one just pulls right off and you replace it with the new one. I believe the part where the oil cap goes has to be cut a little bigger in order to fit though. Basically the intake is held on by some "clips". The hoses that go to the front of the car just slide off. You just pull up on the intake and it will come off. If you live in the D.C. area I'll put it on for you for free.
How does the eisenmann sound? Did you get the race? I have one sitting at home (tips got damaged during shipping) and I dont know what I'm going to do with it yet, can dented tips be repaired?

If you haven't bought it yet, you may want to consider just buying the cover plate and the air-cleaner minus the intake hoses. My 430 hose fit (with some convincing from Duct tape) and I saved about $250 not buying the CLK55 hoses.

Yes, the air filters fit for both the CLK55 intake and CLK430 intake. Here is the average break down of the costs from the dealers:
1. Air Cleaner p# 113-090-01-01 $254.10
2. Hose p# 113-090-03-82 $169.85
3. Hose p# 113-090-02-82 $169.85
4. Cover Plate 113-010-05-67 $ 116.10
5. 4 Brackets 112-094-00-41 4@3.96
The two hoses, like I said, can be re-used from original with some creativity and duct tape. The brackets can be re-used as well.
Call this number 760-476-5353 and ask for Jeff for some of the best prices. You'll have to pay for shipping though.
I bought my set-up for $200 shipped off another member that had a CLK55.

CLK 430
The eisenmann exhuast sounds awesome, and i can tell a difference in power, not so much at the low RPM band but between like 3500 and 5500 rpm.
Does anyone have any pictures they can post?!?. I haven't bought the intakes yet but if its possible i will, because i'm not about to pay way more(renntech) then its worth..
it doesn't seem too bad but the CLK55 air intake has like 4 hoses and is piped from the back. and theres some type of crazy casting on the pressure side of the supercharger. It seems quite different because it has to fit around the super charger
I don't live in the DC area. I live in Chicago .
I want to get the intake on before i get the ECU tuned....
