How do you remove the headlights?

How do you remove the headlights?
Im trying to use an auto glym glass plishing kit and i cant polish the headlights while they're in the car, how do you take them out? I know someone out there has done this. If you know how to remove the whole assembly or just the glass part either would be great. Thanks for the help!

first of all, yes, you would need to remove the bumber to remove the headlights.
no, the lens are not removable (well, technically yes, but, you would have to remove the headlight from the car to remove the lens)
lastly, the lens are plastic... not glass... i would highly recommend not polishing it much as it will thin out the plastic...

Well I have a question for you guys then.... get this... I have a FREAKIN BUG IN MY Headlamp for months now.... damn dealer says they can't take it out....only way is to BUY a new headlamp.... NOOOOOTTTTTT. Any idea's guys? I want that damn thing out of my headlamp.

since the space in htere is quite tight, i would suggest trying some compressed air to blow the "bug" out of the headlight, or, out of sight.
otherwise, if it is REALLY "BUGGING" you (lol), then, remove the headlight, and shake it until the bug comes out...

Very Funny Danny.... thanks bud for the info.... I tried the air idea already.... damn bug.... it is "Bugging" me alot now. Specially after I took the car to D2 and they were pointing it out.... Hey I finally installed the Kleeman suspension and the wheels..... car looks a hella lot better

ok, thanks for the help. I've been busy lately and havent checked up on this post in a while. Ill remove them and let you know how it goes. I still htink im going to polish them, but carefully.
