Bulb types for W209

HI guys,

Does anyone know what are the bulb types of the bulbs used in a W209 Coupe [example: bulbs for interior lights, door entry lamp, reading lamps, mirror lamps, trunk, backup lamp etc]? If anyone has the info, please kindly msg me or reply this thread. I tried my service advisor but she wouldn't help Thanks.

The ones in the service manual are only for the headlight and rear lights. I need the ones for the interiors and inside the trunk. Anyone knows? Thanks though cracker123.

search in the W203 forum, I think this discussion has happened there quite a lot, some member were trying to upgrade the interior lights to white bulbs. Are you also upgrading the interior bulbs.

Ancient thread.

Does anyone know regarding the HID-D2S bulbs for the lower bean headlamp, is there a preferred wattage?

Most are 35 Watts, but I have seen higher.

Thank you,

So after watching a youtube video, I changed my low beam bulb today. I bought a Bosch bulb, about $37. I saw stuff online for cheaper, but not readily available here, and by companies i neverh heard of. I only did one side as I want to see how they match up at night.

Here is the bulb I pulled out. It is clearly broken. I expected to find glass fragments inside the hole. So I put on rubber gloves and poked around in the hole, and there was nothing. Could that missing glass have just vaporized? Very strange.

I installed the replacement and so far so good.

Here is the video I used:
