Harmon/kardon LOGIC 7 Surround Sound System

Hi to all.

I am based in the UK, and am in the process of ordering a CLK 320 CDI.

Can anyone tell me if it is worth adding the harman/kardon LOGIC 7 surround system.

Thanks.

ye definitely i have. you can really tell the difference. plus when you come to sell the car it is always better to have a premium sound system isnt it.

I didn't bother and I find the sound quality great. The bass is great too. So no complaints. I heard both systems before I ordered my car and I thought... yes, well the H/K is a little better, but I wasn't that too bothered, thus I don't have it.

I was wondering the same thing. What exactly is the difference? What is the standard set up. How many speakers doe the standard setup have vs. the Logic 7. Are there other differences.

Hi,

Did you order Bi-Xenons as an option. In the UK we have Bi-Xenons with Active Light System and Bi-Xenons, the former costs twice as much.

Does anyone know the difference?

Active light is the cornering light system... so if you turn a corner one of the front fog lights comes on to give you an extended sideward view.

I didn't notice a big difference with the Harmon Kardon system.

To be honest, I dont think that there.. it's more of a NAME feature to have in your car than anything else. I'm sure that it does sound better in some respects, but not that you'd notice unless you sit in the back of the car.

Standard Sound

If one was able to not order or did not order the HK Logic 7 what would the standard sound configuration be? Would it be a AM/FM radio? How many speakers would the standard configuration have?

Retro Fitting the H/K System

Anyone had any experience of retro-fitting this system? Just curious if it is a pain of a task to do?
