First thing I want to do is got to 18" rims. What do you think, Carlsson or Brabus? These seem to be the best looking ones. From what I understand, the AMG rims that come on the car are 17".

the dealers here told me that if i order the 18 inch AMG's for the CLK500 avantgarde, then AMG springs come free!

I'm kinda surprised. But still think you chould check it cause you'll get the 18's along with free sport suspensions too!

IMHO, the AMG rims is out_of_date and easy to find it on many
old models, not specific for W209, either.
The rims on W209/CLK55 is another story.

The new design 17" rims on CLK500 is unique so far !
Carlsson is rare(expensive) than Brabus, both for your reference.

the 18 inch AMG's they showed me on a CLK500 were pretty much identical to the 17's you get on the C32!

i thought they looked a bit boring.. personally i'd go for BLING BLINGS for the 209!!!

Go for Brabus, Carlsson rims are too ugly.....forget about AMG-they look too stock, but it depends on what you are looking for

My car is the diamond edition Carlsson EVO's. They have nice and clean look to them.

the new AMG-wheels avalibel here in germany look awsome, i like the "Styling IV" very much. have seen it on a silver SL 55 in 19", u can check out the wheels here:
