Black CLK500 and Pewter CLK320 *pictures* and impressions
Below are the pictures, but let me first give my impressions. This was my first chance to actually sit in the car and spend some quality time with it. I must say that the Black 500 was gorgeous. The picture of the grill below that I took doesn't look so hot, but it looked killer in person. Black on black is a classic combo for a reason, as it was a very rich looking car. I have no problem ignoring people who are displeased with the car's styling, as I am in love with it.
The interior is very roomy. I'm 6'2'', and was able to sit in the back seat with no problems. Everything was well-made, and is in a different class than the 208's interior.
Now onto the Pewter. I won't deny it - it looked good. I still would choose Silver hands down if I had the choice again, but people who have ordered it will [i]not[i] be disappointed. From some angles, its like a slightly darker silver. From others, its got a "cream" look to it. I took a picture of it next to a Silver C-Class so you can see what I mean.
Enjoy the pictures, and I'd be glad to answer any questions.

I was wondering what your thoughts are on the use of plastics on the interior of the car. Also, is there an improvement in the quality of switchs on the dash?
It seems the clk is in the showrooms on the east coast, but hear in the west I can't seem to find a dealer that is showing them.
LiquidM5, do you think the Pewter will look good with the charcoal interior?
To Beltfed, I also have a CLK-500 ordered in Pewter with charcoal
I ordered a 500 in pewter with charcoal. I've ordered the walnut trim, but thinking about going with aluminum. Anyone seen this combo?
Its kind of like changing your answers on a test......in most cases, its proven that you should stick with your first choice.

The only interiors that look cheap are the light-colored ones (ash and "tan?")
Color to avoid:
I usually love white (specially on the 3 series/M3!!!) but not on the w209 CLK. Its look cheap!!! from any angle... definitely a color to avoid.
W209 look small:
I don't see that at all. Maybe is not as aggresive as the w208 but I was shocked when a w209 CLK500 seating next to a w208 CLK55. Suddenly the new CLK looked nicer and the w208 body look so out dated.
my 2 cents
