06 CLK 500 1/4 mile racing last night.
So i finally took the car down to E-town raceway in stock form to see what i could pull off.. I ran the car in dyno mode and also just with the ESP off. Dyno mode caused way too much wheel spin even past the 60ft resulting 15 plus second run at 95mph. So i had two runs with just the ESP off and pulled a 14.0 at 100 mph and then backed it up with a 13.9 at 100 mph. i think these are decent times considering i have no mods what so ever..

My g-tech pro gave me a time of 13.7 @ around 104 (don't remember exact mph). This was when my car was completely stock. Of course, G-tech is totally inaccurate and is probably off by about .5 seconds. Hopefully, this summer I'll visit englishtown and get some real times.

I think the 7 speed might be a bit faster. I've driven both and I think the 7 speed is a little quicker.
When I was stock, I once got a 0-60 of 5.2 with G-tech (though once again, not the most accurate of performance results). And R&T are much better drivers than me, so I wouldn't be suprised if the 7 speed is just as fast if not faster than a 5 speed. Somebody should race the 2 cars, 5 speed vs 7 speed.

Correct, the 7-speed is a bit faster. I raced Tommy (TMans) a few months ago. Did beat him. No offense Tommy. You know i love you.

Hey, that Green Highflow Air Filter, is it really worth it? Was it easy to install? I'm thinking about getting one.

Very easy to install...I'm not really sure if its worth it or not. The day I bought it I wanted to test out the difference in performance. Of course, I get pulled over doing a 75 in a 30. So, for a couple of weeks after that ticket I was driving very slow. Once I started going fast again, I kinda forgot what the car used to run like. I do think that the car revs differently though, I think it revs a little bit faster and just does it easier. Overall, I think it gives the car a better feel, but I'm not sure whether or not it makes a difference to performance.
