custom quad exhuast is cheap!
I got my custom Magnaflow quad exhuast done at a local shop in El Toro. Cost about $550 !!!!!
Now the savings is not only on the exhaust but, I didn't get a new rear bumper, they just cut out an addition hole on the other side of the bumper. to me it is ok...and worth the 550...but if I could I rather install the Brabus K8 kit (too bad it is only for clk55) or the lorinser dual (way too expensive).

not stock.
car looks nice, and tip came out nice, but do you have any under-car pics???? how did they do the exhaust setup, what piping did they use? etc etc.... 550 is a nice price for an exhaust, but magnaflow mufflers only fo for 100-200, im guessing that for 550 they did a full custom cat-back ???

Could you please post a sound clip of the exhaust? i am very intersted in doing a custom quad exhaust?
BTW, what made you choce the Magnaflow instead of Borla, etc?

wider muffler selection that come in handy when making custom exhaust setups, also...the overal look and finish of the magnaflow mufflers is just better than borla, and for the price or bang for the buck, there is just no comparison......

i remember one of the guys telling me it would cost about 140 including tips and installation... would you recommend it on a 320? for 140 it might be worth a shot, if it doesnt sound good just throw the stock one back on

everything was custom...
Yes, the magnaflow exhuast was about 200, but the tips where also about 100 (magnaflow tips as well, stainless steel...and yes they are real stainless...I been cleaning them daily and no stains
and yes it was a full custom job, the muffler is in the middle of my car and is pipped out to the rear. the side with the spare tire, they just piped around it and at the end of the pipes are the magnaflow tips.
I don't know about any midas shop, only b/c I'm not sure if they have a machine to do custom pipes..and prob only have stock items. If you live in S. CA...I can recommend you to where I had mine done. They did a GREAT job and will work with you to get what you want RIGHT!

Interesteing~ so you are running only one muffler and you customized to a Y pipe kind of set up? is the muffler located at where the resonator is?
BTW, i have always wondered about the Brabus front bumper on CLK. it would nice you you can help me here. i have seen one exactly like yours and i have also seen one that has slates on each side of the bumper(like the SLK55 bumper). Does Brabus offer both of these types, or is the one with the slates just replica?

yes there is just 1 magnaflow muffler with a custom y-pipe.
As for the brabus bumper, there are 2 versions. The one with the areodynamics on the side like the SLK55 is called the Brabus K8 kit for the w209. However, I called Brabus b/c I wanted to replace my bumper, said the K8 will only fit a clk500 or 55 so no luck for anyone with 320's
Not to mention it cost about 800 more then the original Brabus bumper.

thanks of the comments...
Only downside I can think of is that I don't have a true quad exhaust system to exhale out more air, but on the upside, I find it very clean looking not seeing the exhausts and only the tips!
You be amazed by just doing this how much more impressive the car sounds..and looks and how much more attention you get!

well..
I can only give my opinion on the magnaflow system, and IMO, it is definately a MUST have. My car use to be slow to pick up and response, but after the upgrade there is MUCH improvement. The sound is great, and on demand when I want to make some noise to attract attention.
as for the eisieman, not sure, never heard one nor been a car that had the system.
