You should've gotten xenons. Also, the 550 engine.

I am awaiting an order for a 550 cab. I was not aware that airmatic was an option for the CLK (what year is your CLK and is this an option that can be added?). Also, I was not aware that actual tire pressure monitoring was an option (only low pressure indicator based on ABS) for the CLK at this time. How did you get all these features on your car? I would love to add these to the 550. TIA for your info.

hey , the airmatic is an option, really great one if you wake up constantly with back aches...and the tire pressure monitoring system was as well an option.

Do you mean dynamic seats because airmatic is a suspension that the SL, CL, E, and S use...

BTW, nice car. I have 19"s on my car and have no probs. If you want some real speed, get NOS Lol. Take care.

A good paint shop should be able to hook you up. I am not from NYC so i can't recommend anybody.
There are a lot of people having eibach and H&R. I have a KW suspension and can just say that it feels nice and sporty, but somehow still comfortable. You can also ajust the hight to your favor.

When I lived in NYC/NJ, I used to go to a shop called Bergen Imports in Cliffside Park, NJ. Depending on where you are coming from in the city, it's about 5-10 min from both either the Lincoln Tunnel or the GW Bridge, just off River Road. If you are on River Road, make the turn onto Gorge Road (across from the movie theater/promenade shopping area), make your first left by the post office, and then your first right onto Palisades Avenue. Bergen Imports will be on your right. They installed by Brabus springs (which I recommend by the way) and they also have a paint and full body shop as well. They do good work. Ask for Harry.

Hope that helps...

so basically your saying they actually have to open up the tail lights and paint them? if so then how would the light go through?

No - I am just saying that there is a shop called Bergen Imports in NJ that does all types of mod, body and paint work on Mercedes-Benzes. You may want to check with them to see if they can "smoke" your tailights.

I don't know the process for smoking tailights, but I would assume it is similar to the tinting process where they apply some kind of film.
