Took off my Eisenmann Exhaust, now FOR SALE!

Yeah, it was real fun and I'm going to miss it so much (I was so bored driving my car today). But yeah, I took the exhaust off and put the stock one back on. The beast lost its heart Lol. But I'm selling it so if anybody in the NY area wants it send me a PM. Check out the thread https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...30#post1866030

The car is leased and I have to take it off when I bring the car back. Plus, my parents were giving me a real hard time with it, they were getting embarrassed because friends and family thought I was speeding (the car sounds like im doing 100 when Im really doing 35). Also, the other night I wanted to take a girl out and her parents wouldn't let her because they thought I was a speed demon (which I am but they dont know that) because they heard my car. So, I figure its better to take it off now...I just feel like my car lost its ***** lol.

I'll let it go for $850 shipped in the US. If you're really interested let me know and we can work something out. I'd much rather give it to one of you enthusiasts than someone on Ebay. I feel like I'm passing the tourch Lol.

And yeah, musclecars are much louder but this thing is still pretty damn loud and the sound it makes just makes it seem like your gunning it. I do feel like a *** now that I took the exhaust off, I feel like the typical 30 year old woman driving around NY. I miss being such a badass...but I'm planning on getting a CLS55 a year or two from now and throwing an eisenmann on that (along with K4) or SL600 RennTech

Just to make this deal more appealing to the performance enthusiast, I'll throw in a pair of brand new Green High Flow air filters. This should be perfect because your getting a little more air flow in from the filters and a little more out because of the exhaust. It also makes the engine sound a tad better.

Is there some website with more info about this exhaust? Do you know what the HP gains are?

Juha
hp gains are negligible on a NA car - you generally only benefit from exhaust mods on a forced induction car with either a supercharger/kompressor or turbos. Changing the exhaust on this car is primarily about the sound unless you have added a supercharger.

To tell you the truth, I did feel it pull a bit harder when I had the exhaust on (mostly top end). But yeah, its not a major gain. Eisenmann says something like a 7% gain. The sound makes it feel like you have an extra 50hp Lol.

However, theres a guy on these forums with an SL600 and his Eisenmann exhaust gave him 40hp on the dyno. Although that is a turbo V12, Im sure that there will be a slight horsepower gain for our V8's.

I think its RennTechV12...he is on the SL55 forums a lot. He has a low 11 sec SL and he has a crazy stable including world's fastest 911 GT2, Carrera GT, Continental GT, and some other fun toys.

I'm not sure about the CLK320, you can give Eisenhaus a call.
