Clk W209 Comand Unit (big Problem)
I just brought a 07 CLK 350… and I have the normal audio unit (no screen)… but I would love to add a OEM COMAND unit on my car… the only thing I know about the COMAND system is that I would have to get the karman/hardon surround system to be able to have that option to install it… and I have the karman/hardon…
The problem right now is… do I just purchase a COMAND unit from MB… and plug it in… then I’m ready to go…? Or is there more stuff to it…?

I Just Bought a 209 without Comand WITH The H/K sound ..and added the Comand so Yes It Can Be done!

I’ve got another question for u… with the h/k system… does it come pre wired with the GPS cords and all? Coz I went up to MB… and they couldn’t even tell me…

About the COMAND, after the installation, U need to connect with the STAR DIAGNOSE to enable the comand function.
the COMAND is good but it WILL BE BETTER with TV Tuner. so dont forget to get one.

just out of curiousity, why didn't you just buy the car with the command unit installed? it's not saving you any money...
