Led
alright... so i put LED wedge bulb (PIAA 12V #19263) for my sidemarker bulb with a resistor (5W 100ohm)... everything seems to work fine... no error is showing... and the LED is VERY bright....
PROBLEM:
the resistor is BURNING HOT... i want to no if i put the right resistor for the LED... becuase the resistor look like its gonna start a fire ne sec....

one thing i am still not sure about is... what kind of resistor to put in... i've got a 5w 100ohm resistor with the LEDs... working fine... with the exception of... the resistor is boiling hot... (kinda scary)

Why don't you increase the value of the resistor and chose a higher wattage - say 150 ohms and 10W. This should reduce the current and also the heat generated. The light output might be reduced, but it will be safer. I have no idea what the 'correct' resistance should be.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
The exterior conversion is worth it though, I hated the yellow parking lights of the regular bulbs.
