CLS 500 rims fitment help?
Does anyone know for sure if the CLS 500 rims fit on the CLK 500?
The tires are 245/40/18 on all four rims.Any help is apreciated.

No they won't the offsets are way off. The bolt sizes are different eventhough they have the same bolt pattern. CLKs uses a 12mm bolt vs 14 for the CLS. You would need custom bolts even if you can get the offsets corrected.

Yes it will in the back (i've got 265s), but it could be tight in the front.
All mercedes bolt patters are 5x112 but that's the bolt pattern. The sizes of the seats on the bolts are different. Cs, CLKs, W210 E classes and SLKs use a 12mm wide bolt, where as CLS, W211Es, SLs, etc... uses a 14mm bolt. So if you use the 12mm bolt on the rims designed with the 14mm bolts, there will be 2mm gaps around the bolt and it's not exactly safe.
This is something that's been on the wheel/tire forum for a while now.

CLK 500 Cab
Do you by chance know if E55 18' Staggered AMG 8-Spoke wheels will fit on my CLK500? The front are both 30mm offset of I'm correct. The backs on the E55 are 39mm and the CLK are 37mm I believe. 2mm should still work, yes?? And I think both are 1/2 an inch wider. I appreciate any advice anyone can offer with this. I'm looking for winter wheels.
