NICE!!!!!!! I'm assuming you're leasing and curious if you're planning on purchasing the car after 3 years or going to do any mods? I'm kind of in the same dilema because I was planning on putting 15K down on a lease but wasn't sure if that was the right thing to do. Everyone says that I should just buy the vehicle if I'm going to put that much down because if the car was totaled or stolen I would lose my down payment but at the same time I don't want to pay that much in monthly payments. I'm looking at no more than $550 a month. Give me your thoughts. I'd like to know what you think since you've already signed of on it. Was it worth it? By the way, what's the residual value you finally negotiated and what dealership did you purchase it from? Thanks!!

At first, when I read about $15,000 down payment on a lease I was quite surprised. But after doing the arithmatic I realized it is about the same I'm paying for a CLK-500 with no money down. I am paying $999.97 a month for a car that stickered for 64,410

I got K3 and K4 Black obsidian with charcoal interior
with phone voice actvated and keyless.

residual value was 69% even so they said it' 70%
for me right now was better to lease. i own my 2000 clk430 so i had the money to put down and lower my payments

i don't think they let you play with money factor or deposit. BTW there no deposit

nice car!! the only thing that bothers me about the new CLK and the C is the blank bottonts located above the hvac. In W208's if an option like heated seats is missing, the part where the botton is supposed to be at is solid wood. but on the 209's its a piece of plastic with no markings. it makes the interior look cheap!! i gues the only way around it is to but a car with all the options

I'd tend to disagree with the "missing switch" handling. I think it looks much better to have the symmetry of the two shaped switch banks always on the car, with some missing their markings only, than to have oddly spaced gaps in the wood trim, etc. I think the new dash design is more modern and cohesive. Even looking at the higher-end consoles where they put strips of wood in-between bits of the same control unit (like climate) looks a bit less appealing than a nice contiguous unit.
The main thing I DO dislike on the CLK/C is the useless & large gap you get if you don't take the COMAND unit..
Looks nice!

llakers,
I read that MB has pretty high residual values but high money factors as well, if MB credit corp allowed the money factor to be lowered due to multiple sec. deposits, leasing an MB would be the best thing to do.
