Cool Let the "tinting" begin!! Pics inside!

Well the modification of the CLK has started....I have a list and going down one by one! The first thing up was the window tint....5% all around and damn its dark... Next I purchased the smoke out vinyl off of ebay....Rvinyl has rolls..I picked up a 24" by 60" roll for 27 shipped to my door...they even gave me a squeegie...lol Anywho I started today by doing the grill, side markers, and the signals in the mirrors....I have to say this was easier than I thought! It just takes time to get the creases out It took me about 2 hours to clean, prep and "wrap" everything....had to do the signals in the mirrors twice Everything was super easy to take off the car...two screws for the grill, and the side markers and signals just pop out. I have posted the pics to give you an idea of what it looks like...there are a couple of the grill 1/2 done so that you can see the difference and some with no flash! Enjoy and let me know what you guys think! I will be posting the tail lights and 3rd brake light hopefully tomorrow if it dont rain....florida!!

Tail lights are done! I used a 12 n 1/2 inch by 24 inch piece for each tail light. It went good and took about 45 mins for each....just heat and smooth then repeat...I ran into a problem where I had to cut the tint so there is a crease where two pieces meet but you can see it unless you really look. I think they turned out great considering I did it myself and only cost me $27 bux! Here are the pics!
