how hard do you drive your car?
how hard do you drive your car under normal driving? and how often do you punch it.
under normal driving my tranny would shift at about 1800 rpms. so i drive it like a granny most of the time. i would let it kick to 5500 rpms or so about once a week and for only 1 gear, to pass up cars in slow traffic. how about you guys?

Lets see... I bought the car April 15th 2008, but have only had it in my possession since May 5th. So I haven't had it one year yet!

For me, it's mostly highway miles. 21,000 since I got the car last Sept.
Here in New England (south of Boston), opportunities for true high speed driving are infrequent. I've set the cruise control at 110mph a couple of times for a few miles at a crack, but typically I spend most of my time around 80-85, keeping up with left lane commuter traffic.
Speed doesn't matter in this car. It feels like it's on rails no matter how fast....... Of course, the downside of New England driving is bent rims and frequent front end aligments.........

The whole road is one giant drag strip. My favorite is an onramp toll booth - go through at 15-30 and end up at 85 in only a short little time.
