That look great and really clear! Did you get a clearer lense as well? How easy was the install (in reference to adding the resistor, what type/spec did you use; part number for LED)?

Thanks. For the lense I bought the new one from MB dealer for $30 I think because my old one is looks really bad so yea. The installation tooks me 2 hours to complete (I am no expert lol) because you have to take off the trunk liner ( upper one) to reach those wires then you have to find the place to mount those resistors so it wont melt anything but dont freak out because im saying that lol its not like a 100 degree... I would say its "warm". Alot of our members have done this before and most of them using 5W 25 ohm resistor but I ended up using 5W 250 ohm thats just because I accidently order the wrong one but it still works thou. Those LED I got it from Superbrightled.com I think I bought the SMD one (3LED 37mm festoon). My next mod. will be a City Light (parking light). Oh wait very nice stereo u have there . I saw your thread about your stereo upgrade. I left you some questions there too.

nice.. about a year ago i started looking for license plate l.e.d.'s everywhere.. the only place i found them was on ebay.. i didnt want to play with wires so i turned to l.e.d.'s with built in resistors, after two faulty l.e.d.'s with built in resistors didnt work, i gave up.. months later a found a new seller with the same deal, so i bought them.. they worked perfect, no fault on the menu screen and no cutting and crimping.. these where the real deal with built in resistors.. till this date i still have them and havnt had any problems.. if i find the the seller again ill post his page.. i just think its pretty cool that this guy actually did it while the others keep failing..
