I've seen deals somewhere. I've seen this.

http://www.gotrim.net/en/en/mercedes...005-up-41.html

I don't like the idea of stickers. I imagine that they don't have complete coverage of the entire wood. Anyone else want to be brave and try first?

Some of their patterns sound tempting.

I'll contribute $20 bucks to whomever tries it first. That's 10% of the cost!

If you read the note on that kit it says that it does not cover the OEM trim completely. They recommend painting black the areas that are not covered...

I'd definitely want to see pics of this stuff installed before spending anything on it. I have seen some overlays done well on other cars, but these things can be hit or miss.

It's only $5 to order a sample of 2 different colors... Might want to do that first!

I did read that part and thats why I don't want to do it. Regardless of what material is, it'll look cheap if it doesn't fit right.

It's very cheezy and cheap that they recommend you use a "magic marker" to fill in the spots their product doesn't cover....whats the point of selling it if it doesn't fit?
