Will these work for my car, if so will it lower it? Im trying to find an alternative to Eibach/H&R.

If you're just doing the springs... probably a little. My gf's dad has a CLK 55 and his car didn't look much lower at all than when my car had stock suspension.

The important thing is, what result are you looking for? And what contrainsts are you working under, cost? Why an alternative to Eibach/H&R? I can't imagine a huge cost difference.

Thanks for the advice. Two things:

1. I want to give my ride a lower look. I have a stock 2005 CLK320 sport with the 5 spoke rims but it looks really high. I wanted to lower the car without sacrificing too much of ride comfort. I occasionally drive with client. I was was going to get the thinnest spring pad to go along with this CLK 55 springs. Im afraid Eibach or H&R is too rough.

2. I can get the AMG springs used for $60.

I don't know first hand cause I haven't rode in a car with this setup, but people in here seem happy with it. They get eibach struts and tein springs. You can ask Andy (M-benz) about it. I think him, Klinh and a few other guys have that setup. You can take a look at their drops.

I can tell you that Eibach is not rough at ALL if u looking for comfort then this is the one u want...but its not as low as H&R.

Look...... forget the "AMG springs" Eibachs sound like a better fit for you. Like someone mentioned earlier... they are not as low as the HR, but they are comfortable.

...but to answer that question. Yes, they'll fit. Its the same chasis(w209)
