2006 CLK 500 oil change DIY

Good day everyone. I recently bought a CLK500 for my fiance and this will be the first service I do on it. I did some searching on the forum but was not able to find a good clk500 (2006) DIY guide that would show me where and how everything is done. Any one have any input?

Also, I have my SL55 so I wanted to invest in an oil extractor. Can anyone tell me of a good one that is not so expensive.

Thank you.

Do you or anyone you know use that specific extractor? If so, I take it that it performs well?

I will post pics once we get wheels on the clk and I get my sl55 lowered. I instaleld the 20" iForged wheels on it recently but it needs to be lowered.

Thanks.

If I went ahead and removed the drain plug and drained the oil should I purchase a new drain plug and washer or simply reuse what I removed?

Im using that oil extractor to my 04-CLK320 and I traded in for my CLK500-05 last week. For the bolt and the washer get the new one just to be safe since they not high dollar one but why not using the oil extractor ? clean, fast and easy

Nice, I've been reading about your CLK320 for a while. Too bad It's gone, but nice upgrade to CLK500

Still debating whether I should do mine as well since my MB dealer only charges $90 for oil changes.

I just need that oil extractor coz I'm used to doing oil changes on all my other cars the regular way. How often do you change your oil, mileage?
