H&R Wheel Spacers

Is anyone currently running H&R wheel spacers in their W209?

According to this link (http://hrsprings.com/scripts/appguid...Trak&MakeID=25) the 5mm wheel spacers need the center contour to be machined out to be used on the front axles.

Can anyone confirm if that's true for W209's? How difficult and expensive is it to machine the spacers?

I noticed 3mm spacers don't require machining when used in front. Might be easier to use those instead (3mm will probably be enough for the tire to clear the brakes and coil over so it'll still get the job done).

Thanks

I have the 15mm spacers up front (3055665).

Not sure how much you're going to drop your car, but I needed at least 10mm spacers when installed my coilovers when I running my stock 17" wheels. My car is on the lowest setting though.

I have 19" rims.

9.5" wide at the rear with 15mm spacers.

245/30/19 tyres at the rear.

I went with 245's to give me a slightly smaller tyre shoulder, thus giving me slighly more clearance under the arches.

I have not rolled the arches.

LOL! Chrome type FTW!

They're actually Carlsson EVO 1/6. I bought them used and had them polished... and now they look kinda chrome... maybe I should've had them powdercoated silver instead.

Chrome type is tight, don't change it.
