How often do you guys wash your CLKs?

So I was wondering how often you guys wash your CLKs especially in the winter. And what kinds of car washes do you guys go to and which package do you guys normally get? (Undercoat protection, wax, etc.) And do they really do all those things that they list?

In the winter, I wash my car probably about once every two weeks, or after every snow storm. Since I've had the CLK, it's only been handwashed or a touchless automatic car wash.

In the summer, I wash it myself about once every 4 days.

I'd like to wash everyweak but I'm always stucking of work. So usually 1 time every 3 weeks but I use the car 2 times per weak.
Always handwashing.
Now I have a clk but when I had a C sportcoupè I tried this kind of carwash.

During the winter, i check the weather forecast if it's going to rain the whole week. If it's sunny, i usually hand wash my car every weekend typically sunday so i can start the week with a clean car. Get some microfibre towels and a decent car soap from auto zone, walmart, or other car places. Avoid machine washing. Even when some machine washing places are touch-free (using water jets), avoid as much as possible. I accidentally scratched my rims at a machine wash place.

I drive the racism out of BadDebt. ;)
call me a bit overkill, but i handwash my car every 3-4 days if i drive it during the year...and wax every 1-2 months and a polish every 6 months.... i have a white car, so every dirt spec shows up...and even brake dust is an eye sore...

i believe that if you should drive a benz, you should spend the time to keep it shiney all the time.

touchless carwash is death to your wax and car.....absolutely death. i hope your black trim isn't ruined with a blue tint and the chrome trim doesnt have hard water stains!

That's it, I should just sell my white CLK now and get a 89 blue Honda CRX.

My is silver so I wash it maybe once every 4-6 months I need to wash it as soon as it gets a bit clear as the latest snow left so much salt on it...

I try to faithful in the winter when it permits here in the Midwest. It has been tough this year opposed to that last couple. Snow and below freezing at some level ever week.

Summertime every week. Wax once every couple months. Detailer as needed. M

Lucky! My is blk so I have wash it frequently. It sucks because the next day dirt and dust becomes very visible

its my 3rd silver car and thats the reason I always buy silver. Well my wife has a white metallic (Lexus RX330) and that shows dirt much more. But yes, I should wash it more often. I just hate the automatic car wash washes as they all tend to do a crappy job and I feel like I'm wasting money. Unfortunately in Midwest the weather is not favorable towards washing yourself at least a few months out of the year. I think I will be nice to my ride and take it to a car wash today as we have a break from the snow I think I washed it last sometime in July

I used to have a weekly cleaning schedule locked down.

However, over time, my cleaning has now become an on-going affair.
There's just too much to clean and treat in one day now.

I clean and treat various areas of the car through the week.

Body, engine bay, interior & windows, leathers, door-shuts, treating of rubber sills & plastics and underneath the car.
I even poke clear the holes in my brakes discs.
One of my guys at MB told me that they replace quite a few warped discs caused by blocked holes in discs.

On average, I wax perhaps 3 times a week. Including wheels.

LOL!

Na man, I work.

I just have no wife, no GF, no kids, don't go out drinking.....

Er.... no life.

To me, detailing my car is alot more satisfying that going out on the pi##.

Especially when you take it out for the first time after detailing it for days..

Shines like a ruby!

But I also appreciate that I go alittle more over the top than others.

On the subject of wax, all these layers I'm applying really are bringing out a deep wet-looking shine.
When the weather was really bad, I think I waxed it 8 times in 12 days!
LOL.

I'm taking full advantage of finally having a garage.
In fact, that's probably made my "OCD" worse!
I mean, now I can go back out to the car the next day and carry on where I left off!

Layering waxes also help to conceal fine scratches & swirls.
The paint looks awesome.

Just washed my car, looks awesome, got to do it more often especially with all the salt on the roads. Last car wash was in August. Inside looks very clean so I will leave that for when it gets warmer in the garage Next I have to research some good waxing products, any suggestions?
