Black Ash wood for W209 CLK
Hello friends - Jerry here from ForMyMercedes.com I'd like to offer the glove box handle trim in Black Ash wood. I need to buy a sample piece of this wood from Mercedes, in order to match the wood. I need the VIN# of any CLK that has Black ash so I can move this project along. I can also have the center vent switch plate done in any CLK wood, and shift knobs etc.
So - if anyone is interested please email me your VIN# if you have black ash. info@ForMyMercedes.com
For earlier model 2003-2004 CLKs with a light colored wood, I have that identified - so I can order armrest covers, shift knob, vent switch plate (4 slots or 3 slots) and the glove box trim etc. Can do carbon fiber too.
Thanks in advance.
Jerry

sorry for the off topic question but why cant formymercedes.com do the actual trim (door panels, window switch, console around the shifter and radio). i would be interested to change my trim from the like wood color to a CF or something along that line.

I would be interested in getting my light wood parts converted to carbon fiber. Its too much wood for me any idea on the cost? Would it include removal and reinstall? I'm in Palos Park, IL by the way ~40 min from you.
Thanks

man, $149 for the center dash vent switch plate, but only $59 for the glove box handle? I think I'd order the door pulls (#20926), the rear vent trim (#20927), and the seat back release handle (#20924). They all seem to be $0 each!

hey guys I just got a new material that is a carbon fiber composite imitation that looks amazing I will be laminating all the trims with this, I already did my glove box handle and it looks promising. (pic attached) does anyone know or has the instructions on how to remove the whole wood trim?
thanks!

I'm getting my interior done shortly by a guy I know. He does commercial applications for ~ 15 years and will do my inside, front bumper and roof. He is out of town on a job but hopefully should get it done in the next 2 weeks. Will post back on the cost of the work.
Roof would be piano black, spoiler flat black (or should it match the roof?), still not sure on the interior. I'm between carbon look, gun metal or brushed aluminum.
