basically the side skirts are the same & you just need a little mod on the rear bumper ...you just need to get the front bumper ..they do sell it in taiwan but it's quite expensive too ^^

He has a non-AMG w209, how are the side skirts the same? I think he will need more than a "little" mod on the rear bumper

Yup...the side are not the same and he will need a complete new rear bumper too and might at well add a AMG muffler with dual tips. to complete the package.

If you have somebody thats willing to fit it, then go for it. I recommend Sarona over ED, their material is way too cheap from my opinion.

Sarona has somewhat of a clk 63 bumper (its basically a 550 amg with flares on the side). You can see it here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...TQ:MOTORS:1123

If you do it, let me know on the fitment. They say its perfect so i've been waiting for someone to do it.

The body kits dont fit for s***. the body worker will have to do a lot of work to make it fit. I was going to put a lorinser body kit on SL last year, but the bumpers had huge gaps and cheap quality. If you go that route you'll prolly end up spending the same amount of money on the dealer items due to the extensive amount of body work. Trust me, go OEM.

heres a link to a used amg clk bumper:

From my research companies such as ED and a few others who create "full kits" for the 05 AMG (not the 06+) are a ***** to fit. The sarona manufacturer is supposed to be a perfect fit, they have the 63 kits and the 550 with the flare.

http://sarona.com/Sarona/www/index3.html

I cannot say for sure but it is what i have heard from many shops.

PS: The link you posted is for 05 AMG body kit which uses the ovals with out the chrome bezels. The new amg bodykits (including the 63) uses the circle bezels. As a matter of fact now that i look at it, im not even sure whether its even real AMG. It looks like the Black series bumper but then at the same time it doesnt. Anybody has an idea??

Look at a bummper from a clk55 and then look at a bumper from a 09 clk 550 w/amg package. The outer mesh openings where the fogs go are pointed in the outer corners. The 03-05 are more rounded. Def. not a older model amg bumper. I never dealt w/ sarona, but ED is garbage.

PS: not even close to looking like a black series bumper

The reason i say that is because i see the flares on the side, i guess it could be the CLK 63 (non-black edition). But then the cutouts edge should not be a curve.

I think its the 08+ amg bumper not amg 63 bumper, they dont have flares on them. Heres a pic:
