Brabus style grill test

cheap one from ebay. deciding to either:

leave it unfinished matt balck
wrap it in cf vinyl
prep and paint it glossy black

not sure. I don't think painting it silver will look good the grill slats are fabricated much thicker than oem - it looks a little bulky. All silver will be too much.

I have the same decision to make in a couple weeks. I was thinking of going silver but you are right, it might be too much. I saw Gary's in person and it didn't look that bulky. Might be the angle of your picture, do you have a higher pic? IMO go either with the matte or glossy.

Yeah...I'll leave it for a few weeks and then make a decision. I bought the carbon fiber and was ready to install, but then thought maybe painting it black might look nice so it's kinda oem but different.

+1 on the black matte or Glossy. Although, black carbon fiber would match your front lip and spoiler.....Definitely not silver

I think CF would look good to match your other CF accessories.

I would say nay to painting it silver. I don't think you can go wrong w/ either matte black or glossy. It'll flow well w/ the lower grill.
