weird thing about bose sound system
at the back of the cabine the bose sound system has 2 speakers covers.
underneath the drivers side there is asubwoofer and underneath the passenger side ther is just empty space without connectors for speaker or anything.(so what is the need for the bose cover then?).
i was really thinking that my speaker had a problem since no sound was coming from there but really surprised when i found this.....
Have you guys checked this thing up?
i am not familiar with car sound systems but i compare with the home cinema and some hiend stereo sound i have!
i get rattling only when the bass is at max and the car is on 19s from the sunblind(and that only when the sunblind is down)
but when i had bose, it was quite nice.
now i have aftermarket speakers and i think they are better than bose by far. sub is too ^.^ lovin the bass.
although it does rattle when the sunblind is down. i used a piece of foam and lodged it in the back. it seems to work well with the rattling. now it only rattles when the sub is really turned up.

Looking at a 231 and the experiences remindsin this thread are mine with my new 2018 Volvo with premium HK. Used to Sirius - sounded terrible ...the forum mentioned it was Sirius or source so changed to the integrated TuneIn streaming with data set to highest quality and bit rate set to highest.
I was reading an interview with a car audio designer and he said the music should sound like it coming from the front, and very difficult to achieve in car.
