CLK500 Upgraded with Speedtuning USA ECU

dont quote me on the 1500 i had that that on my other car, i dont even think oliver will raize the limiter, all he is doing is mixing more air and gas in to the engine over the factory mixture.
i still don't understand what the fuss is all about.... this is a very simple tune, and very safe it's not maxing out our cars out put.

The basic tuned on a stock engine is by advance the timing a little bit to lean out the air fuel ratio and that why everyone reported better gas mileages.
As for safe (i'm not sure) because of known air fuel ratio after tune and do they unsolder the chip to do the tune with cars that have the ECU on the top of the engine and not max out the car, (in term of power)I agreed. Since NO ONE ever shown any real world dyno after tuned, I don't know what the air fuel ratio at with the tune. The stock engine air fuel ratio is around 12-12.5:1. With the ECU tuned, it still safe if the air fuel ratio around 13.0-13.5:1. Anything higher then that would reduce the life of the engine in a long term because the engine combustion temperature is risen and heat will wear parts out much faster. Btw, fuel is not just for burn inside the engine but also acted to cool the engine.

Check a couple pages back. Either the ECU is on top of the airbox or it's on the drivers side inside the box of fuses. Check out page 1 of this thread and you will see the OPs pic of the ECU on the side.

I would like to know more about the air/fuel mixture, dyno charts, and RPM limiters. If everything looks on the up and up, I have 2 clk500s that may be in.
Also want to know if this affects throttle response. In other words, does it make sense or is it foolish (repetitious) to run with a sprint booster?

How do we send deposit for the programmer? Will that be a second check later on after this finally closes, then would we have to wait for it to not be needed in the shop, then mail it back, then wait for a check to be returned?
Would paypal be an option so we could shave 3 weeks off this process??/
