CLK500 Upgraded with Speedtuning USA ECU
I recently had a chance to upgrade my ECU with Speedtuning USA Stage 2 tune and so far it's been great! Throttle response is instantaneous (I also have the E55K intake and Sprintbooster) even on "C". I haven't had a chance to race my friend yet (stock CLK55) in my favorite highway in MEXICO, but I bet I'll be more competitive.
Lessons learned:
*The ECU is located in the fuse panel in the driver side engine compartment.
*Disconnect the battery
*After carefully removing the 5 wire harnesses, use a flat head screwdriver on both sides of the ECU housing to unhinge the retaining clips.
*You must have your windshield wipers on the up position in-order to remove the ECU. If not, then you will not be able to get it out of its box. The picture attached shows the ECU and the white circle on top is the wiper-arm stopping me from removing the ECU

You don't even have to do this... the programmer can be sent directly to your house and you can upgrade it yourself through OBD2 port (expensive deposit is required, but you get it back).

I did not do the programmer option, but the ECU upgrade cost me $300 + shipping. It's worth it!

Stage 2 includes up to +30HP and +22lb-ft (probably not that high, but if I can get at least half of that.....), Top Speed delimited, better throttle response and different shift patterns.
You are correct. Ha, Ha! I only learned about this option after the fact. BTW, I'm still considering joining the header group-buy....

I sent out the ECU (overnight) on Thursday afternoon, from LA to Maryland; then I got it back on Saturday at 10am. Saturday delivery was a must because I had rented a car and went to Vegas for the weekend ; and had to have the ECU back before I went back to work on Tuesday.
My main motivation for this mod was to beat out those 2011 V6 Mustangs/Cameros, those beasts churn out 305hp!

my mistakes is not to put on dyno back then therefore I cant tell you man but you will definitely notice the difference. My suggestion is if u plan to tune the ECU put your car on dyno before you do that way you will how much you gain. Or you can do this LOL try to find the integra Type R(Stock/few mods its ok but no juice or anything like that ) run with them and see what happen...I bet they will rape your azz but no worries you will get it back after the ECU tune. Thats what happened to me back then so I know there was a gain from doing that. I probably put my 500 on dyno soon before i chipped it and NO I dont have the sprint booster (ur wasting your money on that).
Good luck,
Andy

simply too much demand, its tough enough keeping up as-is .
Most likely by end of 2010 the M113 line will be dropped in order to pursue newer mercedes generations, so if you want headers for your M113 now would be the time to get them while supplies last.
