They sure have, but for the worse!
I've been having so much fun with my new added performance, , that I get on it every-single-chance I get!
One difference I can describe is when I do an aggressive right hand turns. Before, I make the turn, hit the gas, and then the car would bog down then go.
Now, I make the turn, hit the gas, and the car just goes!
From all the mods that I've done, this has to be the best (and I've done a lot of mods). $300 is really not a lot for what you are getting.
Once I calm down and drive somewhat normally, I'll update this thread with my new gas mileage readings.

Does this pass CA Smog test? Not asking if it's CARB cert'ed just if it passes.
Also, it was mentioned earlier that the stage 2 is a 30 hp gain. Does that mean I'd have to change the pulley to get that much gain? How much gain for just the chip?

335i is a turbo engine which can be easily increased boost to increased hp to how ever high the turbo design to run. The Clk 500 is a n/a engine which is alot harder to increase hp throught ECU upgrade. It hard to tell if any increase in hp without dyno. I'm sure you will feel the car response much better through ECU mods the wire drive by throttle like the spring booster.

Is there a shop in NYC-NJ-CT area that does the tune? if not i will drive out to Maryland.... we should get a group buy on the tune =D. why did iwaste 400 on a freaking x box this would be so much more fun rofl!
They dont do clk550 Tune..... i only see 500, i bvelive 550 engines can get more power in a tune.

If those don't work for you then TVT Design is located in Nj and I think they tune also.

Stage 2 is around 30hp and 40+ TQ thats if you have N&N and 2nd cat delete or highflow 2nd cat.
They told me we can do a group buy if we get 10 people it will come out to $359 per person clk550 and clk500. and $260 for the clk350

yes i called them 2009 models will need to send out the ECU since they dont have ODB2 home tune for that. 2007 models can get the ODB2 tune sent home 500 deposit.
Mercedes will not be able to detect the tune, so we are safe.

Thats a stage 2 for a clk 550 ........ take out the direrence from your tune price so if you have the 350 and it cost 300 and not 399 like the clk550 then the price is what ? 260...
