Hi all,

I'm wanting to buy a comand unit for my 2005 CLK 320. My budget is limited so I'm willing to negotiate terms favorable to the seller.

Does anyone on here have a unit available? I have searched the classifieds but no luck.

Thanks for looking out, but ouch.... $1200 is way out of my league. I'm at around 600-700 most or cheaper if possible

clarion is alright. but this one had ipod control. its nice but i would much rather go with aftermarket with our cars cuz double din will always be double din.

but then again, the navi that you want should be plug and play. there are a couple on ebay for 600

Even though it's plug n play your have to purchase and run the GPS antenna

oh i didnt know what. but i mean when you go aftermarket, you need more parts too. you can either splice your wires or find a connector for it.

you need an add on to get your speakers to work. i guess its good to go aftermarket if your trying to go full out aftermarket.

I think it's better going aftermarket.

same but you gotta think about the amp your gonna buy, then speakers, then dynomat, then running those wires. its easy but everything costs a lot.

Yea i thought about aftermarket but for the reasons mentioned, I haven't. If my budget is limited, imagine aftermarket by the time I get all into it, it will cost more than double what I can spend. Besides, I actually like the stock look, guess I'm getting old

the budget will be quick large. but i think its worth it, but thats me personally. i like the nav, the ipod connectivity, the gui. i think gui on the stock navs are outdated compared to mine. but then again thats me. and im biased =P

there are a few of the stock navs out there used but you have to search worldwide on ebay. i dont know how much shipping might be. but yeah.
