Hey Guys,

I got a CLK550 and am wondering what i should do for an intake?
Should i do the AMG Air-Box or just get the K&N Filters? I'm looking to get pure HP from the mod, so what would be better the AMG airbox or just K&N filters?
And is it worth the extra money to upgrade to the AMG air-box? -if so do i get the CLK55 AMG air-box or the CLK63 AMG air-box?- thanks

Those are the part #'s off an E55 Airbox and it should fit. The AMG airbox would be better then just the filters alone.

The e55 airbox only fits the v8s right?

for the V8 it will bolt right up..not sure for the V6 you may have to modify to make it fit.

are you sure? the 550 is M273, not sure if it would fit but then i haven't tried.

Sorry I forgot about 550 but i think so too. If u can use the Airbox of CLK500 then the fitment wont be an issue..know what I mean. Anyone of your friend got the CLK500 that you can borrow and try it on ?

Anyone able to confirm that the AMG Air-Box will fit the 550's? Anyone on the forum see it done before? I'd wanna be 100% sure before purchasing.
