A why? and a why not?

I learned as a kid, and even more so as a parent: "why?" questions tend to be a waste of energy. I'll ask anyway, as otherwise I'd just be working.

Why do the headrests raise when moving the seat? Whether moving forward or back, they go up. That seems dumb.

And why aren't the rear windows express? I just accepted it at first, but whenever I use the "recirculate" button to open-all or close-all, it occurs to me that, if they can do that, they should express. No?

not sure about the second part of the question. but the first part. when moving forward, the headrest should get lower and moving backward, the headrest should get higher. i guess the reason for that is mercedes's computer had like a system which correlated the distance between the chair and the pedals to the height of your body. lol i mean i took a stab in the dark but it makes sense? lawl.

Makes sense...I never really had a problem with the rear windows not being auto, but it would be nice

lmao i always wondered the same things. I figure for the seat the further you go the straighter your body stays therefore the headrest goes up? That is of course if you sit the proper way in the car ( like the commercial) and put your seatbelt on

Windows in the back automatic? Mercedes being cheap. It would definetly be great to have those.

Gee, I always see it go UP, no matter which way I move the seat, but that's because I keep them all the way down. I just moved seat fwd and they went up, then down!

i noticed that they go up when moving back and go down when moving fwd, i guess this is to allow proper spacing when folding the seat if someone is going to sit in back seats... this way the headrests wont hit the roof

the further you go back the taller you are, hence the height of the head rest. unless you're just a ghetto punk who drives from the back seat full recline of course.
