2006 CLK500 white gauge/instrument panel part number

In my '05 CLK500 I have the black gauges w/black instrument cluster bezel, in reading this thread;

https://mbworld.org/forums/clk-class...clk-500-a.html

I see that the '06 CLK500 (still with the M113 5.0L) came with white gauges & white instrument cluster bezel. I've been to the MB dealer here trying to get the part number to order it but they can't cross reference - either they use the customers VIN number on file (can't use an eBay VIN)or exact part numbers. I've also searched on the net without luck and parts.com isn't straight forward with a part number/description either.

Does anyone here have the part number for the '06 cluster ('06-'09 500/550 may be the same)? Or does anyone here with a '06-'09 CLK500/550 have the time to make a quick call to a dealer with your VIN number and source the part number for me? Absolutely no rush.

This is the last item I have to order now, any help/direction here would be fantastic.

Using the VIN from this ebay link (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/06-Me...item20b3555e6e) These are the part #'s that the EPC shows. It doesn't look like the bezel is sold alone, but if you find out it is let me know..

Once again Wes comes flying in wearing the CLK-Superman suit! Thats awesome pal, thanks a million

So now I'll take the 5 part numbers (cluster in kilometers) and see if the parts guy at MB can steer me in the right direction.

Ran all the KPH part numbers through parts.com (with and without the A prefix) - nothing came up, MPH ones did though. Off to the dealer tomorrow.

Parts.com only lists the US part #'s, if you type in the part #'s for the US clusters they will come up.

Kev, do you know if the W209 & W211 share the same bezel/gauges? They look almost identical. I believe the W208 & W210 are interchangable. If so I might have a lead on some.

Not sure mate, I'll do some searching on my end tomorrow. I was just going to buy the silver bezel from your bay link and leave the black gauges, but I'm definitely up to seeing what you've found. Catch ya tomorrow and thanks!

Definitely let me know if you find out. I am still waiting on that bezel. I order those CF inserts after the bezel and received them a couple days ago.

I replaced my 03 cluster with the 06 white cluster last year - You have to purchase the entire cluster (which pulls out as 1 unit) and it costs about $800. Just a heads up that I lost my stock radio controls when I did this becasue my radio was not compatible, depsite several dealer attempt at programming. The new cluster requires programming btw. This no longer matters becasue I got rid of the stock POS deck.

Were your original miles programmed into the cluster?

just the stock radio. Actually the other annoying thing is the 06 cluster has the audible seat belt warning.

I wonder if this is because you have a pre-facelift? In other words, I wonder if an '06 cluster would also cause these issues in an '05 (both post-facelift)?

Nice! I wish I could find someone around here that knows how to program the miles.
