Well i have read before on this forum that someone did an exhaust job here and he said his car didn't pull anymore and couldn't even go past 45mph.
Not sure if he had a hole or disconnected pipe somewhere but me being a total noob in exhaust systems have to ask this kind of questions.
So from your answer i believe its a No right lol? than i guess i deserve this
What about the smoke?

no problem but why the old way ? Why not doing this ? Take out your second cats ( put the muffler here) and deleted your resonator too then from the new muffler run two pipes to the end for each tips .

I can picture that and it sounds like a cleaner setup, but will cutting the secondary cats add even more sound??
I already have my resonator removed btw

all trial and error. if you want quad, i would put the muffler towards the back as andy suggested. BEFORE you do the quad set up, why dont you go for two tips first. and see if you like the note. if not, replace it with stock and take a bit of a loss. dont do quad, have you regret the note and regretting the decision for months and wasting money for a quad set up
haha sorry if i was bouncing around. working on a paper. but yeah you got the idea.

Based on the pic, that muffler is designed for a single inlet into an daul outlet. That muffler is installed backward. Depending how the air chamber vent inside the muffler design, it will do more harms then good because of backup pressure. But then the other oulet could be just a "fake" outlet.

I don't agree with that.
What I would recommend you do is go for it and do the quad exhaust and if it is too loud for your taste, you can put the resonators back on or evaluate other options at that point. But, at least you'd have the quad exhaust!!!

I don't think that's what he was saying. I think he was trying to say that you shouldn't sink all the money into a quad exhaust setup because it might come out being too loud for your taste.

Now the guy at the exhaust shop told me he wanted me to stay there the whole time. He said after i am done and ready to close everything up i will start the car rev the engine and you can tell me how you would like the sound as i can make it deeper louder or silence it more.
How he will do that no idea at all.... but they been there for 40 years so i am assuming he knows what the hell he is talking about.
Btw this is where i am taking it:

The second and the third pics are mine and the rest are not. What do u want to know ? i still loved that sounds on my 320. Again, you have to have the right muffler to do that...the one u posted like Klinh said looks like the guy put the backward. What you really want to do is u gotta ask the muffler guys and explain to them how u want to do it.
Edit: Magnaflow thats what I used to have on my 320 and i will do it again on my 500 soon with the setup like i metioned above.

Magnaflow and that was like 3 years ago I couldnt remember was it a 1 or 2 inlets or anything like that but again every muffler has a different design inside of them so we cant really tell unless you talk to the guy. That setup is old now...do the one I told u above. If its too loud you can always put the resonator back.
