He's just on springs though. I would imagine my PSS9's would feel a bit better, but yes still a rough ride. It does look awesome. My lip wouldn't last a day if I was that low with the roads here.

Andy,

Do you still have the factory 2/2 resonator that was cut out or did you get pictures of it? I'd like to see the internals of it; is it stright through or does it have dimple baffles? Is it two seperate chambers or one sharred chamber (acting like a X-pipe)?

Cutting progressive rate springs changes it's characteristics. It's really debatable whether is it's 'bad' to cut one coil out if it's just a street car. Not the 'proper' way to do it but it's done all the time. The problem is that if you want to run a lowering spring and not coilovers (to retain a progressive spring rate and comfort), you're pretty limited in what you can get in regards to heights - that's why a lot of guys cut a coil. It's FAR better than heating them like others do.

so it's better to cut the springs and not heat them... but the best thing to do is to change them :P

Heating is an absolute no-no and is dangerous in that they can crack. A center coil or two is usually heated to the point where it is red hot, then the spring 'sags' to a lower height. Unfortunately most people that do this don't understand that when you do this it makes the coil(s) brittle and they have altered the metal structure to be different that that surrounding it. Basically the same thing as a pressure vessel (on a gas compressor skid for example)- if you weld something on to it the whole thing needs to be heat treated.

caused the guy gave me the good offer lolz. Its just a 3G 8gb man. Ok im about to leave to the muffler shop again to get the Magnaflow Resonator and if they have the X-pipe there too I will get it. I'm still debating whether to use the stock resonator or get the Magnaflow one...Its all about trial and error like everyone say...I guess I gotta pay to play. Anyway, will get back to u guys on this. And just like all my thread that I posted in the past i will post alot of pics to whatever that im going to do to the car.

1 pics = a thousand words right ?
