I had unstable idle when warm and foul smell after raw acceleration, so after reading your post today and thinking about the issue i had, putting the two together decided to get rid off the secondary cats resonator and the rest. The idea is to have 1st cats then high flow dual resonator and thats it! Straight pipe after that with quad tips, here's the photos so far of the job... Let me know what you think guys!
Cheers!!!

Hey m-benz! Yes got it finished that evening, the muffler was supplied by the same garage but just a universal high flow resonator style. The sound is awesome!!! Can really appreciate the v8 now, But more importantly got great power gain and throttle response, so really happy with the job! The guy at the garage highly recommended me to get rid off the primary cats aswell but not sure if I will need to remap the ecu..
How comes you not driving your beauty???
