IS-Performance CF door handle surrounds

Just received these a couple days ago. The quality was better than I expected. The look is growing on me. Sorry for the bad pics. What do you guys think?

Thanks.

Do you think CLKINDIVIDUAL's CF mirror covers would be over doing it? I think it might be too much and don't want to spend $200+ only not to use them.

I'm not sold... But you sir are a CF junkie, so nothing I say will keep you from buying more and more.
Kinda makes the door handle stand out rather than disappear into the lines of the car.

That said, if anyone can pull it off, you have enough CF to make it a theme... I would go ahead and add mirror covers.

If he accepts returns than go for it man. And i really dont think it will bee too much. I have CF vinyl on my car and have prob the same amount of CF on the exterior as you do except the surrounds and i got good words on them all the time. Now i rly want those cover since they are more glossy and look just like the cf front lip but for that price i will pass and wait. Plus with the blacked out signal it would look great IMO.
Why not try Vinyl first and see if you like it?

EDIT: love the parking style ahha as much space from the other car as you can get lol i do that a lot esp. in school or malls

I think that CF mirror covers might be too much, but its your car. I like the look you have now with the side mirrors blacked out. Looks clean and not over done. Just my opinion. But CLKBoi has a good suggestion...try vinyl to see if you like the look then CF.

lol, they say the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. I definitely love me some CF. I see what you say that it makes the handle stand out more. That was my initial thought also. I wanted some CF on the side to tie in the front and rear. I think I might have to get the mirror covers now..

Yea, you could never be too cautious. I think I'm just going to go ahead and buy them. If I don't like them then maybe a member here would get a good deal on some mirror covers.

P.S. I might have a bit more CF, don't forget the grille.

I feel like the mirror covers would look better with clear turn signals instead of black. Decisions....Decisions....

It's VHT nightshades spray. The turn signals are only like $20 each so I would just buy new ones.

I think they look great!

Why don't you guys get those chrome mirror covers and door handle surrounds they sell in places like formymercedes.com:

Then wrap them with CF vinyl? Cost? $120 for the covers + $20 for the vinyl and the it's guaranteed to fit. That's what I plan on doing once I get this supercharger thing figured out.

I think the CF surrounds are a nice touch because it's fairly indiscreet, a slight touch to tie in the CF in the front and rear, just as you said. Mirror covers though will be quite dominating and certainly change the look of the car. Not saying it'll be a bad thing, you love your CF, but it will change the overall look IMO.

Then again, what do I know about cosmetics, I should just stick to engine tuning, suspension and sound systems at my age
