In my opinions when it come to fake quad mods, mine setup is the best. The 1st pic, if you allow exhaust gas to pass through the fake pipe then you might lose torques due to lost back pressure. But if the fake pipe just welded to the factory exhaust pipe without exhaust gas pass through, then it would look so fake/funny when you start the car in the morning and only see one side of the muffler exhaust gas come out. Pic 2 look like it just a fake pipe welded to the muffler with no exhaust gas pass through. Mine allow the exhaust gas pass through without losing any back pressure.

He's probably just going to say to look in his past posts. Let me save you some trouble. Here is the link and a pic of his fake "piggyback" setup. Looks like they welded after the muffler.
MY LATEST MODS: Quad exhaust "style" tips and wood insert glove box handle.
lol, so your wife can't deal with the Mag muffler but she could deal with that audio setup? I know, you can't adjust the muffler..... Where did you end up getting the diffuser from?

I'm lost. So you say the first one you might lose torque and the second picture there is no gas coming out of the pipe? How could that be? It's attached to the muffler. The second picture is what AAA exhaust does. Do you have any pictures of what the correct way of doing it is? I got a exhaust sitting here but i wanna do it the "correct" way. I tried looking for pix that you posted but found non from under the car
The 1st pic, the fake pipe is attached to the exhaust pipe (before the muffler) not the muffler. The muffler is what control the back pressure. The
2nd pic, i was guessing there's not exhaust gas flow through because I have never seen an 3-outlet muffler before excepted for now on the new Ferrari Itilia. So i'm just assumed that the fake pipe is just welded to the outside of the muffler. As to how mine was done, Dynomite05 poasted the link.

Yes, that's exactly how mine were done at AAA by Pepe. No back pressure lost what so ever doing it this way because it after the muffler. The chanelling plate inside the muffler is desgned in a way to control the back pressure. Btw, the one trick to make it look like a real quad exhaust from behind is to spray the bottom half of the muffler black. If you don't do this, from behind, you can see one side of the car muffler is hanging and the other side have nothing. Here's the #310-839-2443 to the AAA shop in LA. For around $1300, they can give you the Mustang style exhaust system with great sound. They have pics and video sound on their computer for you to hear it.
