If you want to sale your car in the future then stay with black. No body want a 2-tone color. It a Mercedes, not and Honda.

i never said two tone... the paint job is to be done by a professional shop, when i said a new paint job i meant that this is a full paint job. door jams, exterior removing bumpers and all parts to complete the paint job. im not about to do a half a%# job on the paint. i meant a full paint job.

I was talking about then engine bay 2 tone color. Unless you remove the engine too for a complete paint job. You might consider wrapping your baby.

Sell it and buy another color if you must have new paint.

I had some road debris damage to my bumper, hood, and side mirrors. Took it to a body shop that the Mercedes dealership in my area uses and it cost $3000 to repaint same silver color for just those areas. It was due to contractors doing work on the roads and not cleaning it up so luckily I didn't have to pay for it.
