Advice for Installing AUX cable?
I am new to this forum, so I am sorry if this is a topic already overly addressed, but I have a 2007 CLK 350 that has a single cd player and no AUX cable.
I'm not very car/tech/stereo savvy so I apologize in advance if I don't know exactly how to describe things but I just want to be able to listen to my iPod through my stereo and have no idea how to do this. I was reading a thread about ordering a harness cable and installing it into the glove box (?) which is what I will probably do, I was just wondering if others who do not have a cd changer, but rather a single cd player in their vehicle had good results with this method.
Is this the best approach to just be able to plug my iPod into my car? When I first got my car, I asked about installing the ipod integration kit, but I think they told me they couldn't do it in my car for some reason...or maybe it was just too expensive. This was at least 3 years ago.
I just need some advice. Im a SUPER novice at car/tech/stereo stuff. Any advice would be very much appreciated!
It has been a very long and sad 4 years in my car with no iPod!!
THANK YOU!

Did the harness cable you ordered from Mercedes come with 2 cables? Did it include the cable that you plug into the car to your ipod or do i have to buy that cable somewhere separately?

thanks a lot. can't wait to get this done!
