Kleemannizing My CLK500 Begins!
OMG! It's actually happening! This morning I went to DC Performance in LA (DC Performance is a authorized Kleemann Dealer and MBworld sponsor
) to drop off my car for the Supercharger Install. Aaron (he handles the Mercedes side of DC Performance) emailed me a picture of my car on it's very first Dyno run! 
This is not my official thread on my Supercharger install experience, but I will be posting pics and videos as I get them. I should be getting the car back in about a week!

New sig mania! Bad, I spent quite a bit of time on the phone with Kleemann a week ago - the 550 unit is in production mate

The black with CF looks great!Couple of AMGs rims on that and your good to go

Thanks for all the support everyone! I was REALLY close to selling the kit, but it was all of you guys that convinced me it was a worth while project
Now all my friends are fighting over who gets to ride in the car first!
I'm going to attend SoCal MB meets for sure this year so everyone can see the kit in person!
My situation is unique because I bought the kit used, needed to buy some parts for it, and am having a Kleemann dealer do the install. So my total $$$ spent will be totally different from somebody else (plus I didn't get my car back so I don't know what the labor total is going to be). But to get a idea of the cost:
New Kleemann Supercharger Kit for 5.0L M113 V8 = $8,995 US
Install @ Kleemann HQ in Colorado = $1800
I will update this thread whenever I get information from DC.

The Kleemann supercharger kits are a nicely designed system. When you look at it, it appears factory installed.
Kleemann supercharged cars do not make huge peak power, but they do make huge low end torque. That's what makes these cars so fun from stop light to stoplight. They can simply shread the tires at low speeds. Last car we modified, we added drag radial tires. It launched like a rocket. Point and shoot.
This is a great car, great customer and product. it should be a fun build.

DC Performance does work on my CLK. they are the only shop i let touch my car can't wait to see how the build turns out!
