About to lower the CLK
From what I have read here I am going to buy H&R springs and the #4 pads for the rear. Right now my front end sits about 1.5 inches higher than the rear. Will the car have a nice rake with this setup? I really dont like the "saggy rear" or "reverse rake" look I see with some lowered CLK 55s. I want the least aggresive drop possible.
Where can I find the part # for the rear spring pad? Am I correct that the font has no spring pad?
Who do you guys reccomend to buy the springs from?
-Thanks

You can get the spring pads part numbers on the parts sticky. If you don't want an aggressive drop then, like Brian said, Vogtland/Eibach is the way to go. I believe the Eibachs lower 1.2" all around.

I read cars should only be dropped X amount before we compromise the handling.
If that the case with our CLK's? I wanted to lower mine too.
Just starting the research.

I have eibachs with a #1 pad in the rear...take a look at my album in my profile to see if that's the look you're going for...

Thanks man...I searched long and hard to get the right combination with drop, springs, pads, wheels and tires and it all came out right...
Eibachs are great as they keep the Mercedes comfort level and don't have that saggy rear look...
What wheels you looking to run and what offset?...
