2005 CLK500 convertible? Good deal or not?

Hey guys, im looking to get a 05 clk500 or 320 convertible preferably the 500. I have recently found a mint fully loaded 05 clk500 with 78k for 17,000. The miles to me seemed high but the car is loaded with navigation chrome amg wheels spoiler and everything else. Do you think this is a good deal or are the milestoo high. Im worried about running into problems with the car. Should i wait it out and find one with less miles? Also are these cars reliable or do they run into many problems. If you can tell me the common problems i can face or if its worth it. Thanks

clk, Lexus RX 350
nice to see youre getting a clk very good choice and yes 17,000 for a 320 cab sounds like a good price. i have a clk500 so i'll let other 320 owners chime in about common engine problems. but you should get it inspected from top to bottom by a shop.

2003 CLK 320
he found a clk500 for 17000

EDIT: my suggestion is get it inspected by a pro. either indie or dealership. it wont hurt you in the long run if you shell out some money now to see whats up with the car before you buy it. also play with all the buttons and make sure everything works smoothly.

at that mileage you should be looking into sparks and water pump. and anything else related to a major tune up.

2010 Buick Enclave
Instead of starting a new thread I thought I'd ask basically same ? as I recently noticed a 2005 CLK500 with 79,000 miles that has been maintained by the dealer. What future items/$ am I looking at. Probably would be driving 5-7,000 miles a year.

NO LONGER ACTIVE
If it hasn't had it, it needs a transmission service (filter and about 1/2 of the fluid changed). The 5.0 V8 is a great engine and the CLK is one of MBZ's best.
