H&R/Bilstein or H&R/ koni setup

Just need some feedback on either of these combinations.. I currently have the H&R sport springs and was wondering out of the Bilstein B8 short shocks or the koni sport yellows..
Also my car is a cabriolet so will the H&R sway bars make any difference and are They the same part number for the coupe and cabriolet models..

I have been hard pressed in finding the B8 Bilsteins. Lot of place have the HD B6.

The sway bars will make a difference. I don't think you could go wrong with either Bilstein or Koni.

+1. As a rule sway bars first if you are tuning for handling. Then see if you need the Bilsteins or Konis unless of course your stock dampers are leaking. You may not.

Try

www.shox.com

Been using them for years with much success.

I have the H&R springs and sways with Koni adjustables - absolutely amazing set up. On the street for a daily driver it's firm and comfortable, on the roadcourse track I adjust them to be very still and the results are fantastic. I had an instructor and fellow drivers tell me how amazed they were at how well the car handled.

You absolutely can not go wrong with Koni, however, if you aren't going to hard-track the car, save yourself a ton of cash and get the Koni STR-T's.

Are bilsteins the better brand or is it just personal choice like choosing eibach or H&R springs.. My car is only for street use so I just need something comfortable as well as being more firmer on the road. I've got standard shocks with H&R springs and te ride quality is killing me

Koni is a wold class company with world calss products. That isn't to say there is anuthing wrong with a set of Billies but if you go into any reputable (and actual) suspension shop/suspension tuner they will tell you Koni is pretty darn hard to beat. I rode in a C class with the SRT-T's and it was a very good feel, I am going to put them on my C class when my stocks need replacing.

Thanks for the advice and I guess the koni would be the better choice for adjustability of the dampers.. Also wanted to say dam I love your car.. I wish mine was a v8 tho.. I read up that you got supersprint headers.. How do you find them? Do they make that extra "10kw" as they say it does.. I was thinking of getting a set for my car but I can justify spending $2700+ for them..
Also wanted to ask because I'm new here.. How do you put photos on the bottom of your comments Like how you have of your car

No problem and again, you can't go wrong with Koni IMO.

Thanks for the comments on my car, I bought it last July for the sole purpose of building a daily driver that could compete on the roadcourse track. Since I started working on it in February it's been quite a transformation, still lot's to go yet.

As for my AMS 'headers', I just posted a review thread, take a read;

Yeah it really has been helpful. I always used to look through it and well it's actually helped with ideas and advice for my car. Its good to see there are other enthuisiasts out there regardless of where they live.. My car is just for street use only and not track so I've basically modded it to be a street cruisher and show pony if you wanna call it that lol. Id be happier with a v8 engine but in terms of looks I have it looking exactly the way as I want it although I would love a quad exhaust setup and the carbon fibre rear DTM diffuser but it's a lot of mucking around
