Andy, do you mind if I ask your full setup/mods (springs, spacers, etc..)?

And what do you think of going 19"? I have the stock 17"s and I figure if I'm going to upgrade, might as well be dramatic.

Thanks in advance,

Marc

hay Marc, i just switched over to 19" with all season tires. coming from stock 17" with sports compound tires. 19" just make the car look like the way it should. people say the ride quality suffers, i dont feel any real difference, but the car rides better now that i have different tires. im planing new springs and shocks soon. im not a fan of spacers, you should always buy wheels that fit properly out of box.

I'm running on 18" C63 Rep. With the stock shocks and H&R Springs ( rear raised up w the thickest pad ). Front has 32et and rear has 35et but I just installed 12mm spacer in the back so its 23mm now .

My daily squared setup. I've been meaning to post some pics. Still messing with it a bit.

19x9.5+25 front. 225/35/19

19x9.5+15 rear 235/35/19

Putting the 235's up front and doing a 245/35 rear.

H&R

Hey guys, please help me out ASAP. I found a nice set of 19" Carlssons but I don't know how I would fit these on my completely stock car.

FRONTs: 19x8.5 REARs: 19x10
Offset: FRONT 40, REAR 45

What size tires would you suggest I use.

you will need spacers with that setup.
10mm in the front and 10mm in the rear.

from my understanding, you will need atleast 35mm to clear front calipers and sometimes even 32mm. i have a 09clk 350 with sports breaks and my brabus reps would not clear (35mm wheels) then i sold them and purchased 32mm wheels and they clear by like a MM so close to the strut!!!
someone else might be able to better assist you. im not sure about the rear.

Carlssons 1/11

The rear is what I am mostly worried about. This is my daily driver and I use it for business. i do not want stupid issues that will cause to my car to end up in the shop. "Ain't no body got time for that"

I blew out a tire this weekend. Pic attached. They were from when I bought the car a year and a half ago. I'm in the market for 4 new ones ASAP and don't know much about tires.

I have no idea what tire size to get. Can anyone recommend good inexpensive all season tires for my wheels?

The reason I'm not just getting the same ones is because I got newer wider wheels after I got the car and kept the same tires. These tires were for my the old wheels that were 18x8 Front & 18x8.5 Rear.

My current wheels specs:
Size: 18x8.5 Front / 18x9.5 Rear
Bolt Pattern: 5x112
Finish: GunMetal Machined Face
Offset: 35 Front / 35 Rear
Hubcentric: 66.6

Thanks!

Just a quick question on H&R spacers...

The bolts that come with the kit are they extended or are they the same length as stock?

What i meant was anything over a +20/+25 on a 9.5 up front will hit the caliper. Also depends on the wheel face.
