thanks for the confirmation. if i added 5mm spacers to clear the brakes, would that push the wheels out to far? (im a noob at wheel size/offset)Originally Posted by omega48er
that setup should work, but my wheels et.35 did not fit! they would not clear the front brake. just confirm before you order them. (im still learning about offset) as for suspension i would go with Koni yellow and H&R springs.
i was thinking about kw variant2... is the koni yellow and h&r a better setup to go with?

i looked into the toyo proxes 4 plus.
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus
the front have 5/32nd thread while the rear still have 8/32nd, the rear should last me until summer time rite? i drive roughly 800miles a month. would the front last me or should i definitely replace them?
I don' think proxes 4 are available anymore. You may need to go 4s or t14 sport. I just went through this.Originally Posted by omega48er

They're off the GL and ML
I was thinking of trying those! But they are 21" which is way too big. I think there is a similar one from the CLS that would work in 18".Originally Posted by discoduck

Im finally ready to buy a set of staggered 19" wheels. Im interested in the wheels stated above to see if they fit on a 2003 clk 500. Does anyone on here have these wheels on this model car. Our factory brakes r killing me n ive called the different wheel houses n the reps ARENT sure theyll fit. Perfect example the concept 1 as a selection for our cars says offset HPO/MED/AMG. I assumed they would fit until i called n rep wasnt sure.
I have KONI yellows waiting (H&R or Eibachs next). Love da look of the H&R compared to the eibach but TERRIFIED of the ride quality afterwards. However i havent heard ANY good things about the LOOK of eibachs afterward n that WOULD BE A WASTE OF MONEY if the springs dont drop! Ride quality i hear about the eibacks is good however. Lol this car is giving me a headache. Any info on this would be appreciated.
Ive read n reread the tires/suspension section for months but there r still a lot of ?s. I believe offset can be 32 -38 for front/rear but most of us go w/ 35 unless there custom built correct?
Im sorry for this long rant but any help would b appreciated esp. if anyone has the wheels stated above on there 500. Thanks n i really do love this board.

2. You need to go with 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear. Et.25 is flush. If you go 19x9 front you will rub

Im doing MY homework unless u can REALLY HELP just deal w/ ur problem because im SURE someone could tell u to JUST CALL ONE OF OUR REPS.

contemplating on selling my clk500 but if I end up keeping it, I want to throw these 20s on my car. now just wondering how it will look and fit.
http://www.car-parts-accessory.com/2...+Wheels+/3862/

20x9.5 all around .45 or I've seen 20x10 as well. I wonder how it will fit in the front. I know that theres camber kits for the rear but not for the front (correct me if I'm wrong). and also I like the slammed look on my car and is little concerned that these will raise my car substantially.
this is what it will be going on.. its currently on stock 17s

They wont raise the car at all as long as you go with the correct 20" tire height, I think they would look pretty good, massive upgrade as to the wheels on the car now.

Not off the top of my head but I'm quite positive that someone over the course of this thread has posted some info/sizes up.

Ur good w dat offset and the tire sizes will be 225/40 or 35 /19 and if u want to have flush looks might want to throw in a 10mm (22 offset now) spacer in the back . What made you decide to go w non-stagger in the back ?

I would love to go staggered, but i got the wheels for dirt cheap! New in the box for 1300 vs 4k. Anything wrong with not going staggered?Originally Posted by M-bENZ
