They are different colors, one isn't necessarily better than the other. 6000k is more white and 8000k is more blue.

Which one is brighter, meaning illuminates the road more? (better coverage/width/depth)

Does the 8K blue look cheap like the ones you'll find on Honda's with the aftermarket bulbs?

Anyone experience both the 6K and 8K? Pros and cons?

Bluer light tends to scatter more and ends up looking darker, but it's more noticeable to other vehicles. So, if you are going for looks, get the higher temperature, but if you want the best visibility, go for the lower temp.

Thanks for the feedback, I decided on 6K bulbs. I should get the lights by this week and get everything installed by the following week after my bumper holes gets filled/painted. Stand by for pix. =)

Would you mind document details of the bi-xenon installation including bumper removal/put-back? Thanks.

pretty cool. But I am still confused on them not being bi-xenon. Bi-xenon means that the projector flips open when you put on your brihgts, eliminating the cutoff, and no additional light comes on. By you saying that its not bixenon leads me to believe that the lens has no shutter ability and the inside lights become ignited when you activate the higheams. are these inside lights xenon or halogen? Also, I'm guessing the cutoff pattern is different to shine higher. If that I'd true can it be adjusted so that I can drive with quad xenon headlights on the ground (not blinding anyone)

A word of advice, I would go with 6000k. Is still bluer than factory xenon (5400k) but still has outstanding light output. I have 8000k installed now and its a bit too blue, it doesn't illuminate the road very well, the whiter light 6000k shows the road better than the 8000k. And plus, they look a bit dicey, but to eachs own.

EDIT: oops, looks like my ipad somehow skipped that post explaining the details on the previous page. However, I still am curious if there is a cutoff in the high beams and if its angled higher and if it can be adjusted down to not blind people in order to use all 4 lights together for "quad xenons"

You can put either Xenon or Halogen in the highbeam
And the factory HID is 4500k

Haha. Yeah, you caught me there, lately I think I'm coming slightly dyslexic... Anyways, I know you CAN put a xenon HID kit in the highbeam. My question is about the lens/projector/cutoff. The oem halogen projectors will have an adjuster for height of the cut-off. With these being aftermarket solutions, does the highbeam project even HAVE a cut-off lens? If it does, is this aimed higher (the whole point of a highbeam projector) and if so am I able to move the projector cut-off lower to match the low-beam to be able to drive around with all 4 xenons at once (as in 4 low-beams?)

That is essentially the questions I would ideally like to get answered. Either way its still a great buy for $400...

could you take a picture of your 8k with projects. i have 8k with my halogen set up and it looks like an ice blue where 6k would be white. i guess the difference is in the projectors.

There is a picture of it actually in my avatar.

The only other picture I have of it is this one from a while back. But it was taken on my iPhone 3GS at the time, so the quality is pretty crappy and no brightness exposure. They are 8000k LED with 8000k 55w DDM digital slim kit (H7 bulb). It being 55w instead of 35w does make it a bit more "white" than if it were 35w (they are a bit less-blue than the LED's). So if you got 35w 8000k, it would look more like the colors of the LED's.

And here is an image I have of the light out-put (but its really crappy and doesn't really give you a good sense of what it looks like in person, more blue, more spread out).
